Traditional food of Andra Pradesh

            Andra is famous for its spicy food. Some of the popular foods are: 

           1. Chepa pulusa

                   
          Chepa pulusa is a variety of fish curry. Pulusa is a hot piquant dish with fish tossed in tamarind sauce and is spreaded with spicy flavourings and tamarind juice to give it a die-for taste. It is prepared using generous amount of oil and spicy herbs. This dish is mostly liked by many peoples.

             2. Pesarattu

             
                   It is the most commonly prepared breakfast in Andra and nearby regions. This dosa is made with green moong dal and is loved by everyone in the state. It is served commonly with coconut chutney or chilli tomato chutney. 

3. Andra chicken biriyani

                 
The original mouth watering Andra chicken biriyani uses a rich combination of aromatic herbs and spices to give the long thin rice grains. Tossed vegetable are mixed with chicken to bring the delicious taste.

4. Gutti vankaya kooda

                 
This curry is prepared using stuffed egg plant. The tender egg plants are stuffed with roasted spicy herbs. The curry is thick and gives a  fresh smell of tamarind and mustard seeds. It can be served with rice or ghee rotis. 

5. Dondakaya fry

                     
It's a stir fry item, prepared with IvyGuord curry, also known as Parwal. This dish is rich in vitamins and acts as detoxifier for our body. It is prepared with nuts and spices that gives a crispy taste. It can be served with hot rotis or rice and rasam.
