YAKSHAGANA-TRADITIONAL ART FORM OF KARNATAKA:
It is a traditional theatre form ,developed in India,that combines dance, music, dialogue, costumes, makeup and stage techniques with a unique style and forms.  Yakshagana is a traditionally presented from dusk to dawn. It's stories were drawn from Ramayana,Mahabharata, Bhagavata,and other epics from both hindu and jain traditions.

SOCIAL AND CULTURAL FACTS OF KARNATAKA:

                     SARAVANBELAGONA,which is famous for 18 meter high monolithic statue of gomateswara is important jain pilgrimage centre.

                 GOLGUMBAZ of bizapur has the second largest pre modern dome just after byzantine hagia sophia.

GOLOKA is a unique project launched by a daily organisation in ramachandrapur math of shimoga district. About 500 breeds of cows presently can be found in ashram. This project also consist of gomutra(cow urine) therapy centre to develop a medicine called Akra for treating ailments such as cancer.
